That means knowing your values in life and behaving in a way that is consistent with those values.	Dealing with Bully's Powerful ways to avoid getting into a conflict. Below is a list of ways you can use to try and resolve a conflict nonviolently. Performing this tips can empower you to walk away with confidence. 1. JUST WALK AWAY. Don't even bother getting into it. Even if they keep saying abusive things. Or call you "chicken" or that your afraid. Just keep walking. Realize you are a better person. 2. INGORE THE THREATS: If you cannot simply walk away do not let the words they are saying get YOU angry enough to guy you to react. 3. TRY TO REASON WITH THE BULLY. If your a good talker, maybe you and the bully can talk it out. 4. TRY TO MAKE FRIENDS. Treat the bully like a friend instead of an enemy. Ask him if there is anything you can do to help make him less of an angry person. Most punky kid's have something important missing or happening in their life. Tell him your willing to help. 5. TRY TO USE HUMOR. Sometimes you can make a scary situation into a funny one. 6. REFUSE TO FIGHT. Tell the bully your not going to fight no matter what they say or do. Sometimes this just makes the bully go away. Your not any fun to fight with anymore. 7. If the above fails, STAND UP TO THE BULLY. Don't let anyone make you feel inferior. 8. USE AUTHORITY. Call a teacher, police officer, a parent or someone else that can help. 9. YELL/ SCREAM. A good shout or yell (KeeHap) can shock and surprise the person. 10. TAKE A KARATE STANCE. As a last resort, you can take a strong karate fighting stance. This tells the bully that you are prepared to protect yourself if you are attacked. Always protect yourself. No one is ever allowed to hurt you. But hopefully, one or more of the other suggested ways to end the conflict can work.
